Antique black and white classical perspective illustration of the Temple of Jupiter in ancient Athens, Greece, engraved for the New Geographical Dictionary, by Rollos, 1759. Begun in the 6th century B.C. and completed under Hadrian in the 2nd century A.D., the ruins of this ancient temple remain in Athens today. This illustration shows precise architectural detail, with figures in the foreground. Very good overall antique condition, 7.5 x 8.75 inches.
