Antique pictorial map of Malta by Aldo Ciqheri, c. 1960, published by Joscar, Malta. This map is filled with illustrations marking important cities and sites, with inset maps of Valletta and the vicinity of Valletta. Bordered by crests of each king ruling Malta and a view of the Grand Harbour of Valletta. On left and right are letters from King George of Britain and President FDR of the USA praising Malta for their heroism during the Siege of Malta in WWII. Good to very good condition with folds as issued, some deep folds, some separation at fold intersections. Measures approx. 22 x 27.5 inches to the paper edges.
