Antique Nautical Chart by George W. Eldridge of the Thimble Islands and Stony Creek, Connecticut. Map shows water depths, as well as key for location of Buoys, location of Rocks, Sunken Rocks, Life Saving Stations, Sailing Lines, Best Anchorage, etc. Copyrighted in 1909. Fair antique condition with some water stains and two tears on the left side about 1 inch long. Binding holes at top. This was a working chart used to navigate on the water in the early 1900s and has signs of age consistent with its use. Map measures approximately 13.75" x 19" (H x W) to the neatline.
