Antique black and white woodcut print showing a bird's eye view of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from a sketch by Theo. R. Davis, published in the December 30, 1882 edition of Harper's Weekly Magazine. The view includes houses, churches, and the smokestacks of factories with smoke rising into the skyline. Illustrated figures are shown walking around a fountain in the foreground, horses are pulling carriages in the street, and Lake Michigan is visible in the left of the background with boats along the water. Very good antique condition some mild toning and wrinkling, a fold at the center, and a couple small tears along the left edge of the paper, as well as some misplaced ink from the original printing. Image measures approximately 9.25" x 13.5", page measures approx. 11" x 16.25" overall.
