Antique double-sided map published in the Atlas of Long Island, New York by Beers, Comstock, & Cline, 1873. Centerfold map is the Town of Huntington, NY with inset maps of villages of Centreport and Vernon Valley in Huntington and North Babylon (part of Babylon). On the back sides are maps of Coldspring, Huntington Harbor, Northport (all parts of Huntington) and Deer Park (part of Babylon) on one side and Amityville, part of Huntington, on the other side. Shows roads, railroads, parks, businesses, and includes property owners' names. Original hand-coloring. Very good antique condition, some toning, mild foxing. Centerfold map measures approx. 14 x 21 inches and verso maps approx. 10 x 13.5 inches to the neatline.
