Antique hand-colored map of Newtown, Connecticut, From the Atlas of the Vicinity of New York, 1867. Shows property owners at time of publishing and includes a Newtown, CT, Directory. Densely populated areas are enlarged on another page in the atlas. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning of the paper, a few spots of foxing and minor soiling/staining, as well as some wear and small tears at the outer edges of the paper. Measures approximately 16 x 12.75 inches to the neatline, with the map extending beyond the decorative border at the lower left and right sides.
