Antique printed color map of California, Nevada, and Oregon with vibrant original colors. Published by Tunison, from Tunison's Peerless Universal Atlas of the World, c. 1885. This double-sheet map has a handsome deco style border and two illustrations- The Big Trees Mariposa Grove CA and The Yosemite Valley with some information about each. With two verso maps: Colorado on one side and Arizona on the other side. Each of these maps shows towns, cities, railroads, some topogaphy, and colored by county. Very good condition with some minor signs of age- toning, slight stains. California map measures approx. 19 x 12 inches to the neatline. The other two maps measure approx. 9 x 11.25 inches.
