Antique printed color map of an Eastern portion of the U.S. going as far West as Wisconsin, Illinois, and Mississippi. Includes some of the Bahamas and prominently features the Great Lakes. Also includes two notes- "The Sea Islands, famous for Cotton, extend along the shores of S. Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Cap. Beaufort." And "New England, formerly British, is now comprised in the 6 eastern States of the Union, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts Rhode I. & Connecticut."
