Antique map from "Nouvel Atlas Portatif, comprenant le Geographie Universelle, Ancienne et Moderne…" by M. Herisson, fourth edition, 1816. Includes interesting early boundaries of Georgia, Ohio, Maine (when it was still part of Massachusetts), also the Indiana Territory, Louisiana Territory, East and West Florida when it was owned by Spain, etc. This map has topographical detail, names of Native American tribes, etc. Original hand-coloring. Very good antique condition with minor signs of age including slight toning and some tiny spots/foxing. Map measures approximately 7" x 9.5" (H x W) to the neatline and 8.25 x 10 inches to the paper edges.
