Antique map of the USA showing the Northern Pacific Railway in red and other railroads in black. Inset maps show steam routes across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. A fascinating look at the extent of rail travel shortly before its decline. The back side has photographs and text relating to the railway. US map includes some topography of major mountain ranges, state lines, every major railroad stop, and the only National Park at the time- Yellowstone. Very good condition with mild toning, a few spots of foxing, some wear along the folds. The paper has a slightly glossy surface. Measures approx. 18 x 32 inches to the paper edges.
