Maker: Gleason's.
Black and white antique illustration from the front page of Gleason's Pictorial Drawing-Room Companion, June 24, 1854 edition, showing a sylvan scene from Wyoming Valley in the Susquehanna River basin, described as an "enchanting locality" and "diversified by hill and dale, deriving its extreme richness from the extensive flats and river bottoms." This page also contains the Gleason's masthead, a charming scene of Boston Harbor, including the Statehouse and Bunker Hill Monument. Very good overall antique condition, 15 x 11 inches.
