Antique Map of Towns of Alburgh, Isle La Motte, and North Hero (VT) published in the Atlas of Franklin and Grand Isle Counties, Vermont by F.W. Beers & Co. in 1871. These maps were made for tax purposes and indicate all property owners at the time, with densely populated areas enlarged separately. Original hand-coloring. Poor antique condition with complete separation of upper section and some paper loss, mild toning, some stains in the margins, some minor wear at the paper edges. This map could be framed without the detached upper section and with a mat to hide the top edge, or it could be restored (although restoration would cost more than the map). If you appreciate the character of an old map with imperfections, you could frame it floated in a frame to showcase the whole map just as it is. Measures approx. 30 x 12.5 inches to the neatline. Priced as is.
