Antique hand colored map of the west and east parts of Centre Brook, in the town of Essex, CT from the County Atlas of Middlesex Connecticut by F.W. Beers published in 1874. This map shows many ivory manufactories and factories creating ivory goods. Also includes streets, buildings with property owners names, rivers, and railroads. Very good condition with some light minor toning and some minor spotting and/or staining. Approx. 14.5 x 23 inches.
