Antique hand-colored map, of the West Indies, Caribbean, from S. Augustus Mitchell's "A New Universal Atlas, Containing Maps of the Various Empires, Kingdoms, States and Republics of the World, With a Special Map of Each of the United States, Plans of Cities, etc.", 1849. This map includes the Bahamas, the Windward and Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominica, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, etc. Very good antique condition, with toning, some minor spots. Measures approx. 16 x 13 inches to the neatline.
