Antique hand colored map of the Village of West Winsted in the Town of Winchester, Connecticut, from F.W. Beers' County Atlas of Litchfield, 1874, showing named roads, railroads, property owners, schools, churches, cemeteries, businesses, including the Winsted Hoe Co., the Mad River, dammed in numerous places, and the northern tip of Long (now Highland) Lake. Very good antique condition with overall toning, some mild foxing, overall toning, and some minor wear at the outer edges including a slight seam separation. Map measures approx. 22 x 15 inches.
