Antique printed color map showing global ocean tide patterns and a comparative chart of the world's great rivers and their lengths, surface areas, and sources, titled "Map of the Course of the Tidal Wave in the Three Great Oceans and the Great River Basins of the World," by A. Guyot, Swiss geographer and Princeton professor, from "Guyot's Geographical Series, The Earth and its Inhabitants, Intermediate Geography." At the time of printing this map, Lake Victoria had not yet been confirmed as the source of the Nile, and the Amazon was still considered the longest river. Verso contains text on Waves and Tides.
