Antique map of the World from Stieler's Hand-Atlas, c. 1889. The larger map at the top is colored by elevation. Small maps at the bottom are the Southern Hemisphere, map of the Antipodes, showing the Western Hemisphere superimposed over an upside down version of the Eastern Hemisphere, and a map of the Northern Hemisphere. Text in German. Very good overall antique condition with very mild foxing and toning at paper edges. Small tears at paper edges. Paper is fragile. Measures approx. 13 x 16 inches to the neatlines.
