1898
Maker: Gannett.
Antique printed color page of two statistical maps of the United States, based on census data. The first map shows yield of oats per square mile, by number of bushels per square mile, in the U.S. in 1890. The second map shows the production of oats per acre, by number of bushels per acre of "improved land", in the U.S. in 1890. Both maps label half of Oklahoma as "Indian Territory" and show much of the western U.S. as unsettled area. Very good condition with some toning of the antique paper. By Henry Gannett, in The Statistical Atlas of the United States- Eleventh Census, 1898. Measures approximately 17.75" x 13" to include both maps and their titles. (Note: These two maps can be separated, if desired. Please contact us if this is of interest.)
