Antique printed color map showing the distribution of rodents and ruminating animals (such as camels, antilope, moose, and giraffe) throughout the world, from "The Physical Atlas of Natural Phenomena" by Alexander Keith Johnston, published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1856. With illustrations showing animals of the different continents as well as a chart showing the distribution of these animals by height above sea level. In very good antique condition with some very minor smudges, this piece measures approximately 20 x 24 inches.
